Friday Fun

Lots has happened since last Friday and I have been bad about updates.

On Friday morning, the pups went to noted author, seminar presenter and judge Pat Hastings for a structural evaluation. The litter was very consistent and scored well for this evaluation. We were very excited when Pat rated all the pups equal to or better than the current PWDs showing in the ring today. Only a few of the pups will actually make their way into the show ring some day, but the good structure they all exhibit will stand them in good stead as healthy companions too.

Following the evaluation, the pups slept quietly in their kennels in the van while Jan and I went to lunch with friend Mandy Ford who joined us for the evaluation. Mandy owns Chili's sister Bella and was in town for a dog show with Stoker's cousin India.

After lunch, we quickly headed for home and unloaded the pups for a potty break and lunch. They had about an hour to stretch their legs and digest their lunch and then we loaded everybody back in the van for a trip to the vet for a check-up and vaccinations. All the pups checked out fine at the vet and rode nicely in the van there and back. After all the time in kennels and napping, they were quite the little terrorists for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
